Bachelor In Health Care Management (BHCM)
Duration : 8 Semester (4 Years)
Eligibility: All +2 or equivalent with excellent command in English.
Background : The need for qualified health care professionals with health care management / administration degree is growing faster than their production in this area. Different health care companies and organizations, related to health care management, are in need of qualified and trained candidates with health care management / administration degree. Therefore, Pokhara University launched the program of Bachelor of Health Care Management (BHCM) in 2000 through NOC.
Objectives : The program has the following objectives to achieve its mission:
- To produce qualified health care management / administration professionals.
- To acquaint students with modern principles, concepts and ways of health care management.
- To arouse awareness and interest in students about the importance and fundamental role that health care management plays in strengthening the development of the country and the people.
- To prepare students for higher-level studies and research, such as Master's Degree and Ph.D. in this area.
